Being here
KagTuk is a private place for one family at a time. Use your real name, add only people who belong on your tree, and invite only people you know. You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account.
Your account
Sign-in is by one-time code to your email or with Sign in with Apple. Keep your email account secure; anything done from your account is treated as done by you. You can leave at any time from Settings, Delete account. Deleting takes effect at once and cannot be undone; your family's tree keeps one unclaimed entry with your name, your dates and your relationships, which nobody can sign in as, edit or remove.
Your content
What you post stays yours. You grant KagTuk only the right to store it and show it to the family members you shared it with, for as long as it is on the service. Share only what you have the right to share.
Objectionable content
There is zero tolerance for harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, or content you do not have the right to share. Anything a family member reports is reviewed within 24 hours; content that violates these terms is removed and the account responsible may be closed without notice. Report from the three-dot menu on any moment, comment, story, message or profile, and hide any relative's content from your own views in Settings, Privacy, Hidden relatives.
The tree
Entries you add can be removed by you until that person joins; after they join, only they can remove their own profile. Do not add people who have asked not to be on the tree.
The service
KagTuk is provided as it is, free of charge, and may change or be withdrawn. We do our best to keep it available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States of America, and disputes are heard in the state and federal courts sitting there, unless the law where you live gives you a right to something else.
