Write to us

Email [email protected] from the address you signed in with, or open Settings → Support & legal → Contact inside the app. Tell us what you tapped and what you expected; a screenshot helps.

Signing in

KagTuk signs you in with a six-digit code sent to your email, or with Sign in with Apple. You can also add a password in Settings → Account → Password and use it instead of a code. If the code does not arrive within a minute, check Spam and Promotions for a message from KagTuk, then request a new code. Codes expire after ten minutes.

Invitations

A relative who adds you to the tree can email you a link that looks like kagtuk.com/invite/… Opening it on your iPhone with KagTuk installed takes you straight to your place on the tree. Without the app, the page lets you take your place on the web or get KagTuk from the App Store. Links work for 30 days; ask your relative to send a new one if yours has expired.

Who can see what

Only your family — the people connected to you on the tree — can see your profile, moments, stories and dates. There are no public profiles. You can hide any relative's content from your own views in Settings → Privacy & audience → Hidden relatives.

Reporting something

Every moment, comment, story, message and profile has a Report option in its ⋯ menu. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; content that breaks the Terms is removed and the account responsible may be closed.

Fixing the tree

Added someone by mistake? While they have not joined yet, tap their card on the Tree and choose Remove — only the person who added an entry can remove it. Once someone has joined, the entry is theirs: nobody else can edit or remove it, and it stays on the tree even if they later delete their account.

Your data

Download everything you have shared from Settings → Data & storage → Download my data. Delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account: your sign-in and everything you posted are removed; the tree keeps an unclaimed entry so your family's history stays whole. See the Privacy Policy.
